BISHOP EDWARD R. TURNER

Bishop Edward R. Turner is the Pastor and Founder of Power of Love Christian Fellowship. He has a Masters Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from California Christian Institute, a Ph.D. in Ministry from Friends International Christian University and a graduate of the Executive MBA Program from the University of Redlands School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Morris Cerullo World Evangelism School of Ministry and has completed one year of the Crenshaw Christian Center Ministers Training Institute Program. Bishop Turner was ordained to the office of Bishop in May 1995.
His ministry reflects over 25 years of broad experience in non profit development, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, specializing in mentoring programs for youth and various aspects of administration and management. His travels have afforded him the opportunity of traveling abroad and spreading the message of hope in Africa, Brazil and cities in our neighboring continent of South America. His message has been heard through the airwaves in Red China, Malaysia, Indonesia and extensively across the United States.
Bishop Turner also serves as the chairman and founder of Helping Our People Excel for Life Foundation (H.O.P.E.), a non-profit community based organization. Since its inception, H.O.P.E. for Life has focused on developing programs of purpose and interest to restore and to generate a sense of hope, in the community, with a vision of how much better things could be.
Bishop Turner also serves as the Chairperson of the Neighborhood Advocacy Council (NAC), 8th Council District, City of Los Angeles. He is also a member of the Los Angeles Southwest Division Rotary Club.
Bishop Turner is married to Carolyn Ann Turner. The Turners are the proud parents of three daughters, Christann, Charlette and Caroline. Bishop Turner, his life committed partner, Carolyn, and their three daughters humbly and graciously accept the awesome call that has been placed on their lives.
